Abstract:
To enable an editor to intuitively and easily perform processing and smoothly perform page layout processing to compose in a large-scale electronic document in creating the large-scale electronic document even when the person editing the large-scale electronic document is not a specialist.SOLUTION: A large-scale electronic document version management method includes: electronic document parts storage step S2 which designates a prescribed area in an electronic document as parts, divides it, stores respective parts including design information, enables a user to edit them by the part and to store them; electronic document revision storage step S3 which stores revision to be history correcting the respective parts in detail when editing the electronic document and performs version management by the part; and part sharing step S5 which shares the respective parts of the same content as parts of a plurality of electronic documents. To the electronic document finally revised, a version indicating that the whole electronic document has been corrected is imparted, and parts at that point are managed at a time as an electronic document.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
