Abstract:

PURPOSE: To simply couple a vertebra body correcting implement with a plurality of screw members embedded from a pedicle of arch of a vertebra to a vertebra body by providing a plurality of movable members coupled with a rod-like member to be moved longitudinally thereof correspondingly to the number of the screw members.

CONSTITUTION: A vertebra body correcting implement 21 is applied to both sides of each pedicle of arch of a vertebra 3. Respective movable members 25 are shifted to be set fixedly to three embedded pedicle screws by screws 27. Next, a coupling screw part of the pedicle screw is inserted into each inserting hole 31 to be fixed by a nut. Or the movable members 25 are moved to be set to the three pedicle screws and the coupling screw parts of the pedicle screws are inserted through the respective inserting hoes 31 and fixed by the nut. Then, each movable member 25 is fixed by a screw 27. The coupling screw part exposed from the nut is cut off and a surgical operation is thus completed.
