PURPOSE: To attain the stabilization of interlaced scanning, and simultaneously, to prevent color slippage a video image at the left edge of a screen by connecting damping circuits to each deflecting yoke in parallel, and preventing the current of a horizontal period from flowing in a vertical deflection circuit.
CONSTITUTION: The damping circuits 8, 9, 10 are connected respectively in- parallel with vertical deflecting coils 3A, 4A, 5A in three deflecting yokes 3, 4, 5, and the damping circuits 8, 9, 10, are into a short-circuited state in a horizontal frequency area. Therefore, horizontal pulse voltage generated in horizontal deflecting coils 3B, 4B, 5B is never induced by the vertical deflecting coils 3A, 4A, 5A. Accordingly, the current of the horizontal period does not flow in the vertical deflection circuit, and the interlaced scanning is stabilized, and simultaneously, the video image at the left edge on the screen never causes the color slippage.
