To provide a vertical drilling auxiliary tool for an electric drill, which is simple in construction, has ease of use and good portability to high places, is suited for operation in small spaces, prevents scattering of dust and the like made during drilling and is capable of efficient disposal.

The vertical drilling auxiliary tool 1 for the electric drill comprises a guide pipe 2 that has an inside diameter slightly larger than a diameter of a drill cutter 12 and is mounted on a stand 3. A pipe direction of the guide pipe 3 is perpendicular to a bottom 3a of the stand 3 contacting with a surface 14 to be drilled. A dust suction opening 8 is formed in communication with the guide pipe 2. It is preferable that the guide pipe 2 is detachably mounted on the stand 3. The stand 3 is formed with a hole 9 in which a projection 16 on the surface 14 to be drilled is fitted.
