Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To well form a lateral seal while preventing a substance to be filled from attaching to a region to be laterally sealed.
SOLUTION: A vertical filling and packaging machine 1 has an introducing nozzle 8 for introducing the substance to be filled into a tubular film 60 and a liquid splashing preventive mechanism 20 for preventing the substance splashing during its introducing operation from attaching to a region A to be heat-sealed. The liquid splashing preventive mechanism 20 is equipped with a pair of members for integrally pinching the outer peripheries at the lower ends of the tubular film 60 and the introducing nozzle 8. The pair of members of the preventive mechanism 20 pinch the tubular film 60 and the substance is introduced while the region A to be heat-sealed is located above the preventive mechanism 20, thereby preventing the substance from attaching to the region A to be heat-sealed. Thereafter, the tubular film 60 is carried downward, and the region A to be heat-sealed with the substance prevented from attaching is laterally sealed and cut through the use of a lateral seal cutting mechanism 30, thereby manufacturing a packaging bag.
