Abstract:
To provide a vertical injection molding machine that prevents water from entering a bed even when a water leakage accident occurs.SOLUTION: A fixed platen (3) provided on a bed (12) is composed of a thick body portion (3a) and a thin flange portion (3b), and an upper surface shape of the fixed platen (3) is enlarged. An opening (13) opened in the bed (12) is substantially completely closed by the fixed platen (3), which prevents water from entering the bed (12). A turntable (20) is rotatably provided on the fixed platen (3). A lower surface of the turntable (20) is provided with an alignment pin (21), which comes into contact with a stopper (22) provided on the bed (12), to position a rotating position. When the turntable (20) rotates, the alignment pin (21) moves on the flange portion (3b). Therefore, the alignment pin (21) and the fixed platen (3) do not interfere with each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
