Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical mill capable of easily pulverizing a solid matter having high elasticity and a powder feed system including the same.SOLUTION: A vertical mill includes: a housing of a hollow shape having a feed port to which a solid matter is fed and an outlet from which the solid matter is discharged formed therein, portions to which air is fed and an internal region other than the feed port and the outlet being airtight; a pulverizing table supported by a support shaft center along a vertical direction in the internal region of the housing so as to be able to be driven to rotate; a pulverizing roller arranged above the pulverizing table, and rotatably supported by a first support shaft; and high-pressure atmosphere forming means for supplying the high-pressure air into the internal region, and forming the internal region into a high-pressure atmosphere at a pressure higher than an atmospheric pressure. The high-pressure atmosphere forming means includes: supply-port sealing means; outlet sealing means; and suction-portion sealing means.
