Abstract:
To provide a vertical mill which prevents progress of nonuniform wear of roller tires in grinding rollers caused by uneven accumulation of a raw material on a rotary table due to supply imbalance.SOLUTION: In a vertical mill according to the present invention, freely rotatable grinding rollers are arranged on a rotary table. A raw material gets caught between the rotary table and the grinding rollers to be ground by compression and shearing force. In a space between a chute 25 which extends from a raw material supply port toward the rotary table, and the rotary table, a cone 22 is fixed by at least two supports 24 arranged at equal intervals from a width direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
