To provide a vertical moving device of a luggage floor in an automobile constituted free to vertically move the luggage floor by one hand and devised to improve an outer appearance by eliminating a recessed part such as a conventional sliding groove.

The luggage floor 5 is made free to rotate against a mounting body 7 by pivotally installing a front side end part of the luggage floor 5 on one end side of a link body 6 and pivotally installing the other end side of the link body 6 on the side of the mounting body 6, a flapper body 8 is arranged between the luggage floor 5 and the mounting body 7 to cover the front side end part of the luggage floor 5, the link body 6 lying on a bottom surface part 7a of the mounting body 7 is erected by drawing the luggage floor to the rear of the automobile 1 after rotating it to the link body 6 from an automobile lower part position, the front side end part of the luggage floor 6 is moved to the upper part side of the automobile 1, a rear side end part of the luggage floor 5 is supported by placing it on the mounting body 7, and the overall luggage floor 5 is positioned on the upper part side of the automobile 1 roughly in a horizontal state.
