Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical roller mill which can reduce burden on classification and improve performance of classification.SOLUTION: A vertical roller mill 1 comprises: a rotary classifier 5 with rotary classifying blades 8 which is disposed above the crusher in the housing 2; a transportation mechanism which generates air flow in the housing 2 to transport the crushed object crushed by the crusher to the rotary classifier 5; and an outlet tube which discharges the crushed object that has passed through the rotary classifying blades 8 to outside of the housing 2. The vertical roller mill is constructed by including a cylindrical member 20 which surrounds outside of the rotary classifier 5 and guides the ascending air flow into a direction along the rotary classifying blades 8 in which a pre-stage classification area X1 where the crushed object is classified without facing a gas passage 9a communicating with the outlet tube is formed at the lower part 8b of the rotary classifying blades 8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
