Title:
VERY LOW-TEMPERATURE COOLING APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3653836
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply a running force stably to electric motors without being affected by external magnetic-fields, by arranging an axial direction of a rotary shaft of at least one electric motor so as to be a substantially coaxial direction with respect to a direction in which the external magnetic fields are produced by superconductive magnetic devices.
SOLUTION: In a cryagenic cooling apparatus 20, intensified magnetic fields are produced in the vicinity of superconductive magnet devices 4, 4'. The direction of each of the external magnetic fields thus produced is shown by each of the arrows 4a and is a coaxial direction with the rotating direction of a rotary shaft of each of electric motors 1, 1', 5, 9, 11, 11'. By this method that the rotary shaft of each of the electric motors 1, 1', 5, 9, 11, 11' is so arranged as to be the coaxial direction with respect to the direction in which each external magnetic field is produced by the superconductive magnet devices 4, 4', components of the external magnetic fields produced in the direction normal to the shafts can be made substantially zero. The disturbance of the magnetic field of each of the electric motors 1, 1', 5, 9, 11, 11' due to the external magnetic fields is caused in the case where the external magnetic fields enter in the direction normal to the rotary shafts. Therefore, in this case, the electric motors are not affected by the external magnetic fields.
