To provide a vessel maneuvering gear capable of preventing foreign matter from entering inside an exterior unit.SOLUTION: A vessel maneuvering gear 1 includes: an operation unit 2 capable of moving on a straight line which is substantially in parallel to a top surface 3a composing one surface of exterior of the maneuvering gear for vessel 1: an exterior unit 3 including an opening 15 formed correspondingly to movement of the operation unit 2; and a cover unit 5 linked to the movement of the operation unit 2 as well as covering the opening 15 from an interior side of the exterior unit 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
