To improve propulsion efficiency of a vessel propulsion device provided with a duct propeller as well as secure the steering property.SOLUTION: A vessel propulsion device for propelling a vessel includes a plurality of duct propellers each including a duct provided below a hull of a vessel and a propeller arranged to be rotatable inside the duct, the plurality of duct propellers each including at least one embedded-type duct propeller with the duct embedded in the hull and at least one oscillation-type duct propeller capable of oscillating the duct in the horizontal direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
