To provide a vessel having a high bending resistance wherein functions such as improved mechanical properties, heat resistance, and gas-barrier proper ties of a liquid crystal polyester can be maintained and a peculiar viscosity behavior, when melted, can be modified.
The vessel made of liquid crystal polyester resin composition can be obtained from a liquid crystal polyester resin composition in which liquid crystal polyester (56.0-99.9 wt.%) has a continuous phase and rubber (44.0-0.1 wt.%) having functional groups reactive with liquid crystal polyester has a dispersed phase. In a cylindrical vessel, the ratio between the depth of the vessel and the diameter of a mouth thereof is 1/100 or more, and in a rectangular vessel, the ratio between the depth of the vessel and the length of the longest diagonal of a mouth of the vessel is 1/100 or more. The vessel is formed from a laminated structure having layers composed of liquid crystal polyester resin compositions and layers composed of thermoplastic resins.
