Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillatory gyro and a self-diagnostic method therefor which enable self-diagnosing of abnormality in an oscillator and peripheral circuits thereof. SOLUTION: A bias voltage is applied to a detection electrode 2L of a piezoelectric oscillator 2 which a switch 13 to switch a DC bias of a signal inputted into a differential circuit 7 through a charge-voltage conversion means 16 from the detection electrode 2L, thereby detecting changes in the resulting Colioris signals. This enables self-diagnosing of the oscillatory gyro including the short- circuiting of the detection electrode of the oscillator.
