Title:
VIBRATING MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2004289967
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a vibrating motor wherein electrical contacts are kept stabilized during vibration.

When power is supplied to coils 22, the vibrating motor 10 uses, in addition to conductive metal terminals 40 and 41, an electrically insulating elastic base portion 51 which is attached to a motor housing 19 so that the base portion is abutted against the metal terminals 40 and 41, and conductive portions 52 and 53 buried in the elastic base portion 51 so that the conductive portions are abutted against the metal terminals 40 and 41. Since the metal terminals 40 and 41 are constituted of a cathode and an anode, the base portion 51 is electrically insulative. From the viewpoint of causing vibration of the motor to be efficiently absorbed at points of electrical contact, the base portion 51 is provided with elasticity. To enable electrical connection with the outside, the conductive portions 52 and 53 are abutted against the metal terminals 40 and 41. To avoid short-circuiting between the cathode and the anode, the conductive portions 52 and 53 are buried in the electrically insulating elastic base portion 51.
