To improve the durability of a stopper rubber by securing a larger abutting area between a stopper plate portion on the bound side and the stopper rubber while preventing interference between a connection member and a displacement restricting member.
In this vibration absorbing device 10, the connection member 20 for connecting a mount device 18 to an engine 1 is encircled downward by the displacement restricting member 22. The stopper plate portion 88 is provided at an upper end 14A of a second mounting tool outside an opening portion 40 of the displacement restricting member opening in a first direction J, and the stopper rubber 66 is provided on the lower face of the connection member 20 in opposition thereto. At a connection end 48 of the connection member 20 to the engine side, a fastening portion 50 and a fastening portion 52 are provided which is opposed to the opening portion 40 and which is biased to the outside beyond an opening width K of the opening portion, respectively. The opening portion 40 is slantly cut out 80 on the side of the fastening portion 52 beyond a cross-direction center K1. The width of the stopper plate portion 88 in the first direction J is set larger at an end 88A on the side of the cut-out portion than at an end 88B on the opposite side to the cut-out portion (L1L2).
