Abstract:
To stabilize vibration damping effect by suppressing dispersion of vibration in a spherical particle storage space in a vibration damping device applying the spherical particles as a damper element.SOLUTION: In a vibration damping device 1 of a bearing including an inner cylinder 4 which can displace in a radial direction with respect to an apparatus housing 3, a storage space 7 disposed between an outer peripheral face of the inner cylinder 4 and an inner peripheral face of the apparatus housing 3, and filled with spherical particles 6 causing damping action by vibrational friction, a precompression ring 13b disposed at a side part in an axial direction of the storage space 7 and applying axial precompression to the spherical particles 6 charged in the storage space 7, the storage space 7 filled with the spherical particles 6 is composed of a plurality of slit-like recessed portions disposed at equal intervals in a circumferential direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
