Title:
VIBRATION-DAMPING ROOF LINING STRUCTURE AND SOUND ABSORBING MOLDING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH06206505
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To effectively alleviate a vibration without increasing a system weight and to maintain a sound absorbing effect in a wide range by forming a side directed toward a vehicle body of a molding molded from a porous press molded nonwoven fabric in an anisotropic air resistance.

CONSTITUTION: A molding part 5 is self-supported, brought into close contact with a body part 2, and of pressed nonwoven fabric. A surface directed toward the part 2 of the part 5 is knurled in a waffle-like surface to reduce air resistance of a plane direction to air movement becomes smaller than that in a thickness direction. Here, the knurled surface 6 of the lattice model between protrusions 7 is provided by engraving in the part 5. The part 5 is formed of various layer having different compressibility, and a side of the part 5 directed to a guest compartment is strongly compressed, and entire part 5 is self-supported to have sufficient strength to be associated as a component.
