Abstract:
To provide a vibration damping tool capable of restraining trembling vibration with simple constitution and usable for both a machining tool and a rotary cutting tool.
A hollow part 11 is formed inside a tool body 1. A part of a vibration damping member 12 having damping capacity higher than the tool body 1 is connected to an inner wall surface 11a of the hollow part 11. While, clearance S is arranged between the other part of the vibration damping member 12 and the inner wall surface of the hollow part 11. Thus, the vibration damping member 12 is constituted so as to absorb vibration of the tool body 1 by performing damping vibration in the hollow part 11.
