PURPOSE: To enhance the gyro characteristic by making the sensitivity of a vibration gyro constant irrespective of environment change such as variation of temperature.
CONSTITUTION: Vibration in an (x)-axis direction is applied to a vibrator from at least one pair of transducers 2, 3 and vibration due to a Coriolis force which is generated in a (y) axis direction when the vibrator receives an angular velocity Ω around a (z) axis is detected by the transducers so that the angular velocity is measured. Input resistors R1, R2 are serially connected to the transducers, respectively and drive signals are applied to the transducers via the input resistors. The title device comprises a differential amplifier A2 that generates a detection signal of an angular velocity by differentially amplifying a voltage appeared on the transducer and a gain-adjustment amplifier A4 that adjusts the gain in accordance with the voltage appeared on the transducer.
