PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform vibration insulation support of an apparatus to generate vibration with high amplitude and a low frequency by a method wherein an apparatus to be vibration-insulated is fixed on a box-form bed plate provided at a lower part with an opening part, the box-form bed plate is floated in a water storage tank to contain water, and an air layer is formed between the opening part of the box-form bed plate and a water level in the water storage tank.
SOLUTION: A box-form bed plate 2 has the lower side only being opened and is floated on water 6 in a water storage tank 7. An air layer 4 to contain air to generate buoyancy is formed at the lower part of the box-form bed plate 2 and the partition wall of the box-form bed plate 2 and a number of communication holes 5 to intercommunicate the air layer 4 and the box-form bed plate 2 are formed in the partition wall of the box-form bed plate 2. Further, a plurality of air springs 3 to support the side part of the box-form bed plate 2 arranged between the side of the box-form bed plate 2 and the upper side of the water storage tank 7 along the long directions of both sides of an engine 1. This constitution constitutes a vibration system having a low natural frequency of approximate 0.5Hz, and in support in a horizontal direction, a vibration system wherein the weights of a diesel engine 1 and the box-form bed plate 2 form a mass and the air spring 3 form a spring is provided.
