To provide a device for presentation of vibration force sensation, producing accurate vibrations to a wrist joint, apart from an acyclic force sensation presentation, and also an upper limbs rehabilitation supporter based on this device, mainly used for the patients suffering hemiplegia from a stroke.
The device produces vibration force sensation to humans. The device includes an operation part (1) operated by a human, a position or posture detector (2) to detect the position and/or posture of the operation part measured from the wrist joint, a vibration generator (3) having its vibration center located on the wrist joint and being composed of actuators in number equivalent to the vibration freedom of the operation part, and a connector (4). The device provides the wrist joint with accurate vibrations apart from the non-cyclic force sensation presentation.
