Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a vibration-proof device which has an effect on damping vibration even if horizontal displacement and vibration occur by arranging one or plural ring-shaped elastic materials of round or cylindrical form in cross- section and fixing it or them with two mounting plates at different places. CONSTITUTION:A vibration-proof device is constituted by fitting a plurality of round or cylindrical vibration-proof rings 1 made of such elastic materials as rubber, spring steel, synthetic resin and the like to mounting plates 2 having circular cutouts 6 by means of keep plates 3. Then, since said device is made to be rotatable at the circular cutout 6 of the mounting plate 2 of the vibration- proof ring, it irrationally follows up if horizontal displacement occurs, and as for vertical vibration, it is absorbed by the vibration-absorption function of the ring-shaped elastic material. Accordingly, by constituting a vibration-proof device with a circular vibration-proof ring 1, a vibra-tion-proof device which can be used without any problem in relation to horizontal displacement and vibration and has an effect on damaging vibration may be obtained.
