To provide a vibration proof rubber device with excellent durability for restricting the fatigue and increasing movement magnification of a rubber material such as an EPDM(an etylene-propylene-diene based ternary copolymer rubber) with excellent heat resistance when used for a mainbody rubber portion.
A device has a mainbody rubber portion 2 mounted on the opening at one end of a cylindrical mainbody fitting in a sealed condition to restrict the vibration of a vibration source including an engine supported. A mounting bracket 3 is caulked, fastened and mounted onto the opening at the other end of the mainbody fitting 1 to form air-tight small spaces 6, 7, 8 in an inside space formed by these outer walls for air spring operation. The mainbody rubber portion 2 containing 2.0phr or less sulfur is formed of ethylene- propylene-diene based ternary copolymer rubber.
