Title:
VIBRATION REDUCING MECHANISM OF BEAM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2010038318
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an effective and suitable vibration reducing mechanism for reducing vertical vibration of a beam.

A rotary inertia mass damper 3 operated by the vertical vibration of the body beam is installed at an intermediate part in the length direction of a body beam 1. A diagonal member 4 for transmitting bending deformation of the body beam to the rotary inertia mass damper is provided and extended to form a convex folded line downward in a side part of the body beam. Both end parts of the diagonal member 4 are respectively connected to upper parts of the both ends of the body beam and an intermediate part of the diagonal member 4 is connected to the rotary inertia mass damper 3. The diagonal member 4 is strained by an additional spring 5 to introduce prestress. Natural frequency of an additional vibration system composed of the rotary inertia mass damper, the diagonal member, and the additional spring, is attuned to natural frequency of the body beam as a main vibration system (primary natural frequency or specific resonance frequency).
