PURPOSE: To accurately reduce only engine vibration by calculating the difference between a measured value of a vibration sensor and an anticipated value of an engine vibration anticipation means, and sending a control signal to a control means so that a drive signal is adjusted according to the difference.
CONSTITUTION: A control means 24 receives a reference signal based on vibration of engine 2 and a signal of a vibration sensor 7 for a vibrating element, and, according to the reference signal, produces a drive signal for causing vibration of the vibrating element in the opposite phase to and at the same amplitude as vibration of the vibrating element. Also a drive signal feedback corrected in accordance with the signal of the vibration sensor 7 is sent to an actuator 3 so as to further vibrate the vibrating element so as to reduce its vibration. A vibration anticipation means 25 anticipates vibration of the engine 2 which is transmitted to the vibrating element, and a drive signal control means 26 receives a signal from the vibration sensor 7, calculates the difference between a measured value and an anticipated value of vibration from the vibration anticipation means 25, and sends a control signal to the control means 24 so that the drive signal is adjusted accordingly. A vibration reducing operation can thus be made according to whether or not there is vibration detected as disturbance.
