PURPOSE: To provide a vibration type measuring apparatus which is so arranged to absorb the stretching of a sensor tube by bellows.
CONSTITUTION: In a mass flowmeter 11, sensor tubes 17 and 18 through which fluid flows are vibrated by a vibrator 29 and the displacement of the sensor tubes 17 an 18 is detected by pickups 30 and 31 on the upstream and downstream sides by a Coriolis force proportional to a flow rate. Lid members 24 and 25 are welded on both end openings 12a and 12b of a case 12. A pair of beams 33 and 34 is mounted between the lid members 24 and 25. The lid members 24 and 25 are held at positions separated at a specified interval by the beams 33 and 34. The lid members 24 and 25 as supported by the beams 33 and 34 are at the optimum positions in the measuring of the flow rate thereby making possible the maintaining of a measuring accuracy of the mass flow meter 11. The beams 33 and 34 also function as protector to protect the sensor tubes 17 and 18.
