PURPOSE: To improve the operability by directing a microphone in the forward direction so as to switch a reverse switch automatically thereby always making a picture received face normal even when a monitor support base is moved to either a right-hand or a left hand position.

CONSTITUTION: A reverse switch 6 reversing the scanning direction of a monitor receiver 4 is incorporated in a monitor support base 3, and when a support shaft 7 of a microphone 5 is driven so as to be placed respectively to a 1st drive position and a 2nd position set in advance, a changeover drive means provided in a monitor support base 3 is driven to switch the reverse switch 6 thereby reversing the scanning direction of the monitor receiver 4. Thus, when the monitor support base 3 is placed at a right hand or a left hand position, the microphone 5 is turned to select the video image of the screen of the monitor receiver 4 to the normal picture. Thus, the operability is improved.
