This video camera switching device 1 is provided with an operation set means for optionally performing skip setting of each of a plurality of video input signal ports (e.g. VIDEO 1 to VIDEO 4) of the video camera switching device 1 and with a switching control means for circulating and switching, in turn, the video input signal ports of which skip setting is not performed, each time a video signal changeover switch 6 is pressed. When skip setting of the empty video input signal ports is performed by the operation set means, each time the video signal changeover switch 6 is pressed, only the video input signal ports connected to the cameras are switched in turn to promptly switch the video cameras.
