PURPOSE: To enable stereo reproduction having presence without any sense of incompatibility by recording signals while changing the sizes of signals outputted from right and left microphones for stereo recording corresponding to a signal expressing acceleration outputted from an acceleration detecting means provided in the main body of the video camera.
CONSTITUTION: When the main body of the video camera is horizontally rotated at a prescribed angle with the movement of a traveling object, a microcomputer 20 enlarges the size of an output signal S1 from a microphone 5L for left channel by increasing a gain AL of a variable gain amplifier 11 according to the size of a signal SA expressing acceleration and a rotating direction θ based on an azimuth calculated from the double integrated value. The size of a signal S4 from a microphone 5R for right channel is reduced by decreasing the gain AL of the variable gain amplifier 11. By moving a slider 18A to a prescribed position so that a mixing amount can be made 'large' at a mixer circuit 12, a resistance value between resistance circuits 13 and 16 can be made comparatively small.
