Abstract:
To provide an image display device capable of displaying without deformation in images even when a display element expands or contracts.SOLUTION: The image display device includes: a display element that has multiple pixels; a detection part that detects a distance between pixels along a curved surface on the display element arranged on the curved surface of a three-dimensional object; and a correction part that corrects an image signal showing an image to be displayed at each pixel according to the distance between the pixels detected by the detection part. The detection part is configured to detect the distance between pixels on the basis of an image picked up by multiple pixels of the display element.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
