Abstract:
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method for controlling video enhancement, a device, an electronic device, and a storage medium. The method includes: acquiring video content of a played video after it is detected that the electronic device is in a video playback state; identifying a type of the played video based on the video content; determining whether the type is a target type or not; and performing video enhancement on the played video if it is determined to be the target type. Therefore, through the present method, the type of the video can be determined based on the content of the played video, and whether the type is the target type or not is further determined to determine whether to perform video enhancement on the played video or not, which improves the flexibility of the activating method of video enhancement.
