To extract an important part of a video raw material and produce an abstract video.

Video information opened to the public is stored in a video storage device 18. A user terminal operation information acquiring device 22 makes a data transmitting device 24 transmit harmful video information upon receiving a playback requiring signal and a playback operation signal from user terminals 14 and 16. The device 22 stores an operation log and attribute information indicating a user of user terminal in an operation log storing device 26. For producing the abstract video, an operation information selecting device 28 selects the operation log of predetermined attribute information, and supplies it to an evaluation device 30. The evaluation device 30 quantitatively evaluates the important part of the video information according to the operation information selected at the operation information selecting device 28, and produces the abstract video by extracting the important part according to the evaluation value.
