PURPOSE: To offer a video projector controller having an automatic zoom function and an automatic focusing function corresponding to a desired screen size on a screen by controlling a first driving motor based on a first result computed based on distance information and the desired screen size and controlling a second driving motor based on a computed second result.

CONSTITUTION: A distance signal 7 being the output of a distance sensor 1 and a screen size signal 8 being the output of a screen size input device 2 are added to an arithmetic operation circuit 3 and computed. Then, the first computed result (k9) is added to the first driving motor 4 and the second computed result 10 is added to the second driving motor 5. As for an optical lens used for this controller, a zoom ratio adjustment place and a focus adjustment place are provided to one lens and respectively adjusted by the driving motor 4 and the driving motor 5.
