Abstract:

To reduce a risk that when a video recording file is moved in a video recording and reproducing device, the movement is interrupted and the file is segmented.

When video recording data are recorded in a recording medium such as an HDD after being divided into a plurality data blocks and ciphered, respectively, with encryption keys, all the video recording data are copied from a movement origin to a movement destination in the recording medium. Then the respective encryption keys are copied one by one from the movement origin to the movement destination in the recording medium and deleted. Lastly, all the data at the movement origin of the recording medium are deleted.
