Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration in the band characteristic in the vertical direction by providing a switch means bypassing an arithmetic section of a filter at least to a vertical low pass filter and throwing the switch means to the position of bypass in case of application of edit such as dubbing. CONSTITUTION:Changeover switches 6a, 6b added to vertical low pass filters 5a, 5b at the recorder side are thrown to the position of the output line when an output of a video camera is recorded directly or a reproducing signal from a VTR outputting R, G, B signals or Y, CW, CN signals not in line sequence is in dubbing processing, so as to supply the output of the vertical low pass filters 5a, 5b to a TCI encoder 7 as it is. In case of dubbing, the switches are thrown to the position of the bypass line, and the resulting signal is outputted to the TCI encoder 7. Thus, the vertical direction component in the line sequential chrominance signal in the reproduced signal from the magnetic tape is not deteriorated.
