Abstract:
To provide a video reproducing apparatus whereby a viewer can easily recognize and who is speaking the words of a caption.
The apparatus displays a face image of a person speaking words of a caption. When there are a plurality of people A to C, if the caption 50 is spoken by A, the face image 51 of A is displayed at the side of the caption 50. Further, if B utters words, the face image of B is displayed at the side of the caption 50, and if C utters words, the face image of C is displayed at the side of the caption 50.
