A phase difference is detected from a phase of a synchronizing signal included in an analog composite color signal and a phase of a synchronizing signal received by a digital circuit and a gravity center of a video image part is deviated depending on the phase difference. That is, a time axis error within one sampling period of the synchronizing signal caused in the case of YC separation demodulation processing through digital signal processing is detected and the gravity center of the video image is deviated depending on the detection result to suppress a time axis error thereby realizing the YC separate demodulation processing not causing a shake in the video image.
