Abstract:
PURPOSE:To display an abstract video image by providing a filter attenuating or blocking part of the frequency band of a video signal to the input of a video signal processing circuit so as to turn on/off the filter. CONSTITUTION:With a switch 14 thrown to the position of a contact P1, since a filter 10 does not act on a video signal 4, the entire frequency hand of the signal 4 is reproduced with fidelity and the video image itself given from the signal 4 is displayed on a cathode ray tube 7. With the switch 14 thrown to either of the position of contacts P2-P4, the high frequency component of the signal 4 is attenuated by the filter 10 and sent to the video signal processing circuit 5 and not the video image itself given from the signal 4 but the abstract video image is displayed on the cathode ray tube 7. In selecting the position of the switch 14 among the contacts P2-P4, the degree of abstract is varied.
