Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust automatically a frequency modulation(FM) frequency of a frequency modulator with high accuracy entirely independent of the difference in the phase of rise of the output pulse from a crystal oscillator and the difference in the duty factor.
SOLUTION: A pulse generated from a pulse generator 8 is used for a reset input to a counter 9, an output signal of an FM modulator 5 is used for a clock input of the counter 9, the counter 9 counts a clock pulse, a pulse generator 10 outputs pulses for a period when the count of the counter 9 reaches a prescribed count from the count unity, the pulse generated from the pulse generator 10 is used for a reset input of a counter 12, an output signal from a crystal oscillator 11 is used for a clock input of the counter 12, the counter 12 counts the cock pulse, an output state of a decoder 13 is made different depending on the quantity of relation between a specified value and a decoded value being an output signal of the counter 12 and a frequency control error is generated from an error signal generator based on an output of the decoder 13.
