Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce reception data on a receiver side with a simple configuration in a video signal transmission device having a transmitter for receiving data via a data bus of 2 byte in width, converting the data to a serial signal via an 8b/10b encoder and outputting the serial signal.SOLUTION: A first format data processor 110 generates a plurality of data representing a screen format from a pixel clock, a vertical synchronization signal, a horizontal synchronization signal, a data enable signal, and a field signal obtained from a video signal source 300, and sequentially outputs the plurality of data as serial data. A transmitter 120 serially transmits, to a receiver, the image data, the vertical synchronization signal and the pixel clock obtained from a video signal source, and serial data obtained from the first format data processor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
