Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a viewing limiting system which is very convenient to a user such as a parent who registers a viewing limit, etc., to provide its method and a storage medium for recording a viewing limiting program.
SOLUTION: When a 301CH, for example, is previously set as a viewing limit channel and the user depresses the buttons of a remote controller in order of 3, 0 and 1, a request is given to a tuner part 2 so as to receive the 301CH when the '1' button is depressed. In the case of a viewing limit function stop state, the presentation of a program is started. Unless the state is the viewing limit function stop state, a viewing limit channel is taken-out from a viewing limit information storage part 12 and comparison is performed to judge whether the 301CH is the channel to be limited concerning viewing or not. Then a station selection processing part 9 requests the user to perform an operation to release the viewing limit. Unless the operation for releasing the viewing limit is performed, the selection processing part 9 requests a video decoding part 4 and a voice decoding part 6 to stop transmission to a video and voice.
