PURPOSE: To provide a bag dispensing apparatus appropriate for use at the upstream of a counter table in a supermarket when a customer comes to the counter table to pay a corresponding sum after he has selected items in the supermarket.

CONSTITUTION: This apparatus is formed so that a single plastic bag 4 is cut off from a continuous strip one by one at every time and the mouth is opened and further, the vinyl bag can be kept open below an opening 8 in which items a customer has purchased can be put, and formed of four integrated functional blocks comprising a balance 2 connected to a scanner 6 through a computer 7, a unit for dispersing the bag 4 loaded on the balance and opening the mouth, a reel supporting device 3 which feeds the strip of bags to the unit, and the fourth functional block thereof provided with the computer 7 and the scanner 6.
