Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a fine-size vinyl chloride-based fiber, having both of a surface of three-quarter to half luster and touch feeling extremely resembled to human hair, and further to provide a method for producing the vinyl chloride- based fiber.
SOLUTION: This vinyl chloride-based fiber consists of a vinyl chloride-based resin composition comprising 100 pts.wt. vinyl chloride-based mixture consisting of 100-60 wt.% vinyl chloride-based resin and 0-40 wt.% chlorinated vinyl chloride-based resin, (a) 1-35 pts.wt. ethylene-vinyl acetate-based resin, (b) 0.2-5.0 pts.wt. thermal stabilizer and (c) 0.2-5.0 pts.wt. lubricant. The method for producing the vinyl chloride-based fiber comprises melt spinning of the resin composition.
