Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the titled resin compsn. which gives a molded article which can be well bonded by a starch paste, by blending (hydroxypropyl)methyl cellulose with a vinyl chloride resin.
CONSTITUTION: 10W80pts.wt. methyl cellulose or hydroxypropylemethyl cellulose is blended with 100pts.wt. vinyl chloride resin such as vinyl chloride homopolymer resin or a copolymer resin obtd. by copolymerizing vinyl chloride monomer with a copolymerizable monomer such as vinyl acetate or an acrylic ester, to produce the titled resin compsn. A molded article obtd. by molding said compsn. can firmly be bonded to Japanese paper by using a starch paste.
