Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a vinyl chloride resin compsn. which has good impact resistance and fabricability, is excellent in resistance to moisture absorption and hence scarecely causes foaming under heating during fabrication, and enables an efficient low-cost production of a high-quality molding.
CONSTITUTION: 100 pts.wt. vinyl chloride resin is compounded with 5.0-6.0 pts.wt. graft copolymer and 2.5-8 pts.wt. copolymer of methyl methacrylate, an alkyl methacrylate other than the methyl ester, and other copolymerizable monomers. The graft copolymer is prepd. by grafting a vinyl monomer onto a compound rubber which has a molecular structure wherein polyorganosiloxane rubber molecules and polyalkyl (meth)acrylate rubber molecules are inseparably entangled in each other.
