PURPOSE: To provide a feeling such as woody skin touch to a molded item and to attempt to improve thereby extrusion moldability and the secondary processability by compounding a polyvinyl chloride resin with a powder of a maleic anhydridemodified plant fiber and an ABS resin.

CONSTITUTION: A polyvinyl chloride resin compsn. is prepd. by compounding 100 pts.wt. vinyl chloride resin (A) (including its copolymer and graft copolymer), 30-100 pts. powder of a modified plant fiber (B) prepd. by modifying 100 pts.wt. powder of a plant fiber having a mean particle diameter of 10-2,000μm with 2W30 pts. maleic anhydride and/or phthalic anhydride and 0-70 pts. ABS resin (C) (e.g., ABS, AAS, AES and MBS resins).
