Abstract:
To provide a vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer resin less in viscosity secular change of sol when mixed with a plasticizer, and exhibiting excellent breaking extension even with a molded body by a low temperature processing, and applications represented by a coating agent, especially an automobile under body coat, or an automobile sealant or the like.SOLUTION: There is provided a vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer resin, in which vinyl acetate residue unit content is continuously distributed in a range of 0 to 50 wt.%, maximum value of the distribution is one, average polymerization degree is 500 to 3000, and average vinyl acetate residue unit content is over 15 mass% and 30 wt.% or less, and average primary particle diameter of the vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer resin is 1 to 2 μm.SELECTED DRAWING: None
