In a virgin seal cap 10, a plurality of elastic holding pieces 12 are formed on the inner circumferential surface of a pilferproof ring 11, a first fragile line 15 for cutting out is provided, extending from the lower edge of the ring to a connecting part 14 connecting to a ring body part 13, a second fragile line 19 for cutting is provided at the ring body part 13, extending from an optional point at its outer circumferential edge to the connecting part 14, a third fragile line 20 for cutting out is formed at a part on a connecting part connecting the first and the second fragile lines 15 and 19, and a handle 21 is formed at the ring body part 13 at a position near the second fragile line 19. On removing the virgin seal cap from a container, the ring body part 13 is severed from the pilferproof ring 11 along the second and the third fragile lines 19 and 20 and removed from the container with the pilferproof ring 11 cut out along the first fragile line 15.
